After pioneering commercial aviation’s longest non-stop inflight dance routine, he disappeared from public view for several years. Rumours circulated that he operated a fly-by-night, drink-by-day smuggling operation in the remote South Pacific, delivering crates of Japanese import CDs and Cuban rum to isolated communities in need of rare grooves and Mai Tais. I guess we’ll never know the truth of it.
